About meditation

Meditation is the heart of the Buddhist path. Through learning how to control and pacify our minds with meditation, we can reduce and finally eliminate the negative states of mind that are the cause of all our problems and pain. We can improve and finally perfect the positive states of mind that enable us effectively to benefit ourself and others.

About Kadampa Buddhism

Kadampa Buddhism is a time-honoured tradition that for centuries has made Buddha's teachings and meditation practices available to people throughout the world. Buddhism has a timeless and universal relevance, and can be practiced by anyone in any culture, regardless of race, gender, or age. You do not need to be a Buddhist to try out these practices, or to benefit from them.
