Day courses in Brecon and Cardiff

Brecon Beacons

Our Deputy Spiritual Director, Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab, is teaching a day course at Manjushri centre in Cumbria, called "The Bodhisattva Warrior- Delighting in virtue".
Living beings have only one enemy – the army of their delusions of ignorance, self-cherishing, anger, attachment, pride, jealousy and so forth. Overcoming this inner enemy solely in order to be of benefit to others is the joyful task of sincere Kadampa practitioners. Employing the power of effort and an array of special wisdom weapons these peaceful warriors delight in the destruction of all inner obstacles.

We are holding two meditation day courses in Brecon and Cardiff during June:

Saturday 7th June in Brecon: "A peaceful life"

Saturday 14th June in Cardiff: "A blissful life"

Relaxing meditation, meal and Promise Auction

CurrySpend a relaxing evening at Dharmavajra Buddhist Centre by enjoying a short guided meditation and delicious 3 course home-cooked meal.  The meditation and talk brings some inner peace and spiritual focus to the week.  This is a great way to visit the centre, make new friends and learn the art of meditation too.
Friday 20th June: meditation at 7pm, Italian meal at 7:30pm and promise auction at 8:45pm

We will also be holding a promise auction on that evening, where members of the community offer services and items that people can bid for in a silent auction. Some of the top prizes are:

- A weekend's bed and breakfast in Brecon - A weekend in a caravan on the Gower
- A ride on a Harley Davidson - Have you and your family be cooked a meal in your own home
