Amitayus Day Retreat- Sunday 12 February

 

An opportunity to increase your lifespan, wisdom and good fortune. Each session contains chanted prayers and mantra recitation.

Session times: 9am, 11am, 4pm, 7pm each session lasts approx 45mins

No need to book- come for the day or to any session

Tara

24 Hour Tara Prayers - Friday 2nd & Saturday 3rd March

 

An opportunity to rely upon Mother Tara, by engaging in the prayers Liberation from Sorrow. If we do this sincerely and with strong faith Tara can protect us from inner and outer obstacles.

Session times: Friday 6pm & 10pm; Saturday 2am, 6am, 10am & 2pm

Each session lasts approx 45mins
No need to book- come for the day or to one session

Rest & Reflect Day Retreat - Saturday 24th March

 

Take time out of your usual routine, to learn about the benefits of retreat and experience a relaxing day retreat for yourself.

 

11am to 4pm, with registration and morning coffee from 10:30am

1000 Armd Avalokiteshvara

Nyungne Day Retreat - Saturday 14th April

 

Purification and fasting retreat that includes the practice of prostrations. The day starts at 6.30am with Mahayana Precepts, then sessions at 9am, 11am, 2pm, 4pm & 7pm

 

Each sessions lasts approx 50mins

 

To take part it is necessary to attend the 6.30am precepts

Swansea Beach

Walk & Reflect Day Course - Saturday 5th May

 

A wonderful way to keep your body and mind active. The day starts with a meditation, short teaching and lunch in the World Peace Café, then off onto the Gower to walk and talk about the topic of the teaching, returning to the World Peace Café around 4.30pm for afternoon tea.

 

11am to 5pm, with registration and morning coffee from 10:30am

Buddha Shakyamuni

The LIberating Path Day Course - Saturday 27th October

 

Guided meditations and teachings on the meaning of the Liberating Prayer. The Liberating Prayer is a special prayer about the qualities of Buddha, written by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

 

11am to 5pm, with registration and morning coffee from 10:30am
